Hey everyone, Mark Atkins here! I’ve always been a storyteller at heart. My debut novel, Miles to Go Before Redemption, is close to my heart because it explores the messy beauty of families, the strength people find in hard times, and the love that never leaves your side.
Growing up, my parents, Wilbur and Annie Gladys, were my biggest cheerleaders. Their love and wisdom have been guiding lights, as you can see in the book’s dedication. I also owe a big thank you to my amazing English teachers, who showed me the magic of words. And, of course, my sister Althea, who’s always been there to support my dreams.
Faith is a big part of my life, and I believe there’s a guiding force behind my writing.
